SMS Opt-In Consent
Proteum only text-messages an employee after that employee has personally confirmed their mobile number and checked an unchecked, standalone consent box. Consent is collected entirely on Proteum's own domains — no third party is involved in obtaining it. This page documents that flow end to end.
How opt-in is collected
1Employer enrolls the employee
An employer adds an employee to their Proteum training program from the admin portal, providing the employee's name, work email, and mobile number.
2Proteum emails the employee a confirmation link
Enrollment triggers an email from Proteum, sent to the employee directly, containing a signed one-time link to their own confirmation page at learn.proteum.ai/consent.
3Employee confirms their number and opts in
The employee reviews their number and checks an unchecked, standalone consent checkbox before anything can be submitted:
I agree to receive SMS security training reminders and simulated phishing exercises from Proteum LLC at the number provided. Message frequency varies (typically 2–8 msgs/month). 4Consent is recorded
Submitting the form timestamps consent and stores the exact text the employee agreed to. Proteum will not send that employee any SMS before this step completes.
What we never do
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
